Filling and In Which Situations Is It Applied?
If oral care is not sufficient, the filled tooth may decay again. However, every filling has a lifespan. Fillings that become out of harmony with the teeth over time should be replaced before they cause new cavities.

Sensitivity to hot, cold, sweet and sour foods, food residue always stuck in the middle of the teeth, bad breath, and caries may be symptoms.
Under water cooling, it is cleaned with diamond and steel-tipped burs attached to rotating tools in high sections.
Depending on the level of tooth decay, fissure sealant, filling, and root canal treatment can be applied. When these are not sufficient, unfortunately, the tooth is extracted.
Today, its use has decreased considerably due to the fact that the mercury in amalgam fillings is toxic and in the long run, it can lean on the tooth and cause fractures, especially in major repairs.
Radiated fillings or porcelain laminates are used in the treatment of broken teeth.
You should be careful not to bite the tongue, lip and cheek that are numb with the teeth until the anesthesia effect wears off. As with your natural teeth, do not chew very hard foods on the filling side.
Sensitivity may occur and this may subside within 1-2 weeks. In some cases, sensitivities lasting up to 6 months are even observed.
If oral care is not sufficient, the filled tooth may decay again. However, every filling has a lifespan. Fillings that become out of harmony with the teeth over time should be replaced before they cause new cavities.
When the filling or the tooth holding the filling breaks, the filling needs to be replaced. When oral and dental hygiene is inadequate, secondary caries may occur and in this case, the filling must be renewed.

It is an analysis between filling and coating. Inlay or onlay is preferred in cases where there is not enough tooth structure to be covered with a crown and there is not enough tooth structure to support the filling. The treatment takes 2-3 sessions.

In the first session, the cavity is cleaned and measurements are taken. The tooth is closed with a temporary filling. In the second session, the filling is removed, inlay and onlay rehearsals are made, and the inlay or onlay is glued to the tooth using a special adhesive. Finally, the bite is fully adjusted and polished.
